Sumita Sarma (Sumi), Founder of eponymous brand Sumilier®, is a qualified and experienced wine communications consultant, drinks writer and specialist. Whilst studying wines, the term “Sumilier” coined by close friends jokingly (twisted and derived from ‘Sommelier’) became synonymous with her name and has stuck on since then. Sumi is a passionate wine collector and taster. Through this website she puts together years of involvement and experience working in the wine industry with the sole aim to share her drinks passion!

Along with wines, Sumilier also incorporates elements of lifestyle, travel and gastronomic delicacies that go hand in hand with wine appreciation and understanding.
