Recorded at the beginning of Harvest 2016 in October at Denbies Estate, Sumi takes you through some of the key members of the team of the award winning estate in England, one of the largest private estates of the country. Started in 1986, Denbies has been producing wines from times when English wines were rarely heard of. This episode records my meet with the Winemaker of Denbies, Andy Kershaw who keeps his wine making skills challenged all year around by producing vintages for Dragon Ridge Estate in sunny Swartland of South Africa during offseason wintery sessions in the Northern Hemisphere. Sumi also managed to capture a few minutes of talk with head viticulturalist of the estate Duncan McNeil, to find out about his passion for excellence in producing quality and sustainable grapes for his estates, a 'fruitful' work that keeps him outdoors all year through!
